Orem Utah Temple Grounds Maintenance Opportunity

Our stake has been invited to assist with grounds maintenance at the Orem Utah Temple on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.

Following the wonderful turnout from the recent flower planting project, we are grateful for another opportunity to serve at the temple. The temple has asked our stake to provide 30 volunteers for approximately two hours of service.

Assignment Details

Date: Wednesday, June 10, 2026
Arrival Time: Please arrive between 5:50 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Expected Length of Service: Approximately 2 hours
Location: Orem Utah Temple
Parking Instructions: Please park in the East/back parking lot areas.
Meeting Location: Volunteers should meet in the grounds building located on the East side of the temple for instructions.

Recommended Attire:

• Work clothes

• Pants

• Close-toed shoes

Additional Information:

• Families and youth are welcome

• Volunteers do not need to be endowed to participate

• The temple will provide some gloves and hand tools

• Volunteers are welcome to bring their own gloves or tools if preferred

• Please bring a water bottle to stay hydrated while working outdoors

At the conclusion of the assignment, volunteers will return temple-owned tools to the grounds building.

• Self-Reliance Workshops - Please join us Thursdays at 7pm (dinner included at 6:30pm), in the church building just north of our Stake Center (same building as Stake Institute)!  Manuals will be provided. The topic for this semester’s classes is "Emotional Resilience”.  The class will run for 10 consecutive weeks (always on Thursdays at 7pm).  Class sizes will not exceed approximately 10 attendees. Temple and Family History Work

• Stake Presidency Temple Recommend Interviews: 

  • Tuesdays 8:00pm - 9:00pm (walk-ins)

  • Sundays 12:30pm - 2pm (walk-ins)

• Stake Live Ordinance Class - Stake leaders will be teaching 2-3 one-hour classes on Sunday afternoons at 3:30 that all members going to the temple for a living ordinance (including their own endowment and/or to be sealed) need to attend. Sign up here

• Taught by Sister Zimbelman (Stake President’s wife).

• 2–3 one-hour Sunday afternoon classes for members preparing for living ordinances (own endowment and/or sealing).

• Family History Center - The FHC is available to all members of the stake. We'd love for you to come and experience the blessings of Family History.
