Orem YSA 2nd Stake Website

Upcoming Activities:

• April 4-5 - General Conference!! Saturday Sessions starting at 10am and 2pm and Sunday Sessions starting at 10am and 2pm

  • All conference sessions will be streamed live on the broadcasts page of ChurchofJesusChrist.org in 80 languages. You can also watch and listen on the General Conference YouTube channel in 14 languages, the Gospel Stream app in 4 languages, Gospel Library in 80 languages, and other radio, television, satellite, and digital channels.

• May 3, 6pm - Worldwide Devtional for YSA. Young adults ages 18–35 are invited to a worldwide devotional on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. MDT, featuring Elder Gary E. Stevenson and Sister Lesa Stevenson. The theme is “Lifelong Discipleship.”  

• FSY Summer 2026 Employment Opportunities  

  • Positions include Session Coordinators, Assistant Coordinators, Wellness Coordinators, and Counselors. 

  • FSY offers leadership development, service opportunities, and food and housing during sessions.

• The Provo/Orem Temple Presidency has indicated that they need many more ordinance workers. With additional temples being built in our area, this is an exciting time to serve in the House of the Lord. Contact your Bishop if you’re interested.

• Stake choir practice Feb 22 - March 22 each Sunday at 3:30pm in the North Chapel

• Stake Temple Night Third Saturday each month between 6-8:20pm at the Jordan River Temple. No appointments needed

• Mental & Emotional Health & Wellness Forum - Every Tuesday at 12pm at UVU Institute

• Addiction Recovery Classes - Every Tues/Wed at 7:30pm at the UVU Institute building

• Overcoming Pornography (Wed 8:30 p.m. via Zoom, 8-week workshop)

• English Connect Classes are every Saturday 9-10:30 am in Rm 178 and 186 at the UVU Institute building.

• Stake Institute (Language) - Korean Institute classes every Tuesday starting at 6:30pm at 785 College Dr, Orem, UT 84058

• Stake Sports every Thursday at 7PM!

• Self-Reliance Workshops - Please join us Thursdays at 7pm (dinner included at 6:30pm), in the church building just north of our Stake Center (same building as Stake Institute)!  Manuals will be provided. The topic for this semester’s classes is "Emotional Resilience”.  The class will run for 10 consecutive weeks (always on Thursdays at 7pm).  Class sizes will not exceed approximately 10 attendees. If interested, please email or text Scott Kirkland of the Stake High Council (scottfkirkland@gmail.com or 801-372-8687) to sign up and let him know which class you’d like to join.

Utah Valley Institute

There are many activities taking place at the Utah Valley Institute on a weekly basis. You can find more information about their classes and activities here.

• Waffles & Worship - Every Second Saturday at 9:30 AM in the Institute Lower Lounge. Enjoy delicious waffles and an uplifting breakfast class — food, faith, and fellowship for 26–35-year-olds.

Temple and Family History Work

• Stake Presidency Temple Recommend Interviews: 

  • Tuesdays 8:00pm - 9:00pm (walk-ins)

  • Sundays 12:30pm - 2pm (walk-ins)

• Stake Live Ordinance Class - Stake leaders will be teaching 2-3 one-hour classes on Sunday afternoons at 3:30 that all members going to the temple for a living ordinance (including their own endowment and/or to be sealed) need to attend. Sign up here

• Taught by Sister Zimbelman (Stake President’s wife).

• 2–3 one-hour Sunday afternoon classes for members preparing for living ordinances (own endowment and/or sealing).

• Family History Center - The FHC is available to all members of the stake. We'd love for you to come and experience the blessings of Family History.
