There is plenty of parking in the Heber Valley Camp main parking lot, and parking is free. Just be sure to be in the gates by 10:00pm, YOU MAY LEAVE AT ANY TIME (night or day), BUT MUST BE INSIDE BY 10:00 PM BEFORE THE GATES CLOSE.
At Heber Valley Camp, you will park in the main lot and get a ride from a senior missionary to the camp. You may drive and drop your stuff off at the campsite, but parking is limited at the actual campsite
You may come and go as needed
Heber Valley Camp is about 45 minutes from Orem.
There are scheduled times for activities like ropes courses, canoeing, rock climbing and axe throwing. So please pay attention to the attached schedules.
What to pack:

We will be at the Island Beach area of Deer Creek
Please bring anything you need
For those coming to Deer Creek, please note that parking at Deer Creek is $20 per vehicle. Parking near our setup at the Island Beach Day Use Area can also be limited.
To help reduce parking costs and congestion, we plan to use the Wallsburg Overflow Parking Lot, located just past the Wallsburg Park & Ride (2999 W Main Canyon Rd, Wallsburg, UT 84082). It is approximately 6 minutes from the Island Beach Day Use Area.
NOTE: We are working on arranging a shuttle from the overflow parking lot to Island Beach. Details are still being finalized, and we'll share more information if that option becomes available.
In the meantime, you're welcome to coordinate with others and carpool from the Wallsburg Overflow Parking Lot to the Island Beach Day Use Area.
We will adjust any of these plans in case of inclement weather.
Carpool times have NOT yet been finalized. If organized carpools are available, details will be communicated through your ward's communication channels.
Potential Plan (SUBJECT TO CHANGE): The most likely carpool location will be the Orchard Stake Center (800 E 600 N). TENTATIVE departure times are:
Thursday & Friday: Between 4:30–5:00 p.m.
Saturday: Around 10:00–10:30 a.m.
Please note that these times and locations are TENTATIVE and MAY CHANGE. Final details will be shared IF they are confirmed.
8:00pm - Endowment Session @ the Mount Timpanogos Temple
Please reserve an appointment for the 8:00 pm session at Mount Timpanogos Temple ASAP.
We will meet to carpool down at 6:45pm at the Orchard Stake Center (800 East 600 North, Orem)
If you need help reserving a spot or finding a name to take to the temple please reach out to the temple and family history committee
There may be limited baptismal space for those wanting to do baptisms.
5:00pm - You can begin to Check-in @ Heber Valley Camp

Follow the directions from the senior missionaries when you arrive. You will park in the main parking lot and then be transferred by a senior missionary to the Rebekah campsite

9:30am - Challenge Course #6
It is a 10-15 minute walk from camp Rebekah.
This Challenge Course is located in the beautiful Fir trees at Heber Valley Camp. This Challenge Course is a climbing tower 32' tall with 5 lanes that range in difficulty. Each participant will be safely harnessed up and attached to an auto belay for safety during your climbing experience. This challenge course accommodates up to 50 participants in a 1 hour block.
10:45am - Legacy Lake
Each session on Legacy Lake will last approximately one hour and will follow this basic schedule:
Distribution of provided life jackets:
Put on a life jacket.
Then assemble in the pavilion for orientation.
Prayer and orientation:
Someone will offer a prayer.
A missionary couple will then go over safety guidelines and instructions.
Loading and launching of canoes, kayaks or pedal boats.
Other activities available to schedule at the lake include:
Volleyball
Nine square
Sand box
10:45am - Challenge Course #5
It is about a 5 minute walk from camp Rebekah.
This Challenge Course is located in the beautiful Fir trees at Heber Valley Camp. This Challenge Course is unique since it is the only Giant Swing in the camp. Each participant will be safely harnessed up and attached to the swing for a fun, and safe ride.

Each session on Legacy Lake will last approximately one hour and will follow this basic schedule:

3:30pm - Challenge Course #8
It is a 5-8 minute walk from camp Rebekah.
This Challenge Course is located in the beautiful Aspen & Fir trees at Heber Valley Camp. This Challenge Course is an Adventure Park with numerous challenges on 2 levels and an auto-belay zip line. Each participant will be safely harnessed up and attached to a continuous cable system for safety during your climbing experience.
6:00pm - Tomahawk Toss
Tomahawk Toss is a fun and exciting activity. This is a great opportunity for campers, young and old, (age 10 and up) to toss tomahawks at wooden targets. You can toss for fun, compete with others or just have fun learning a new activity. Trained missionaries will conduct a safety orientation and provide basic instructions on how to safely and accurately throw a tomahawk. Missionaries will also reflect on gospel centered principles that are discussed as we learn to throw. The throwing lanes are separated by chain link panels and the entire venue is covered with wood chips to create a safe and fun throwing experience.
